Rintala Goes 5-for-5 Against Eugene
|
Arhippa Rintala of the Hermit Crabs was unstoppable in today's 5-4 victory over the Eugene Vandals at The Riot Zone. He battered them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats.
"Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Huntington catcher after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-5 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will."
Arhippa Rintala singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
