Chicago Slaps 3-2 Loss on Blaze
|
Chicago right-hander Marty Logan pitched his team to victory over the South Beach Blaze at The Ballpark on the Beach. The final score was 3-2. The triumph puts Chicago at 23-14 for the season.
It could have been a different outcome for Chicago, had it not been for Rod Clark, the 21-year old center fielder . Clark contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the second inning to put Chicago up, 3-0.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Chicago manager Stephen Baird.
