Getting an impressive start from George Forrest, Belleville beat Washington by the score of 3-2. Steve MacDougal recorded the save, his 3rd. The Bulls raised their record to 30-49.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Tomás Gutiérrez? The Belleville third baseman had a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Bulls on top, 3-1. For the game, Gutiérrez had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
