Leviathan Stumble, Lose to Bullets
The timely hitting of Leonid Machehin helped the Baltimore Bullets down the Nova Scotia Leviathan, 8-3. Machehin was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Bullets. Baltimore pitcher Ron Rouse got the win, upping his record to 2-0. Kent Good got the loss. The Bullets have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 4th win in 13 games.

The Bullets got an important contribution from designated hitter Carlos Castro, who in the bottom of the first knocked a 1-1 sinker into right for a 2-run double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Bullets ahead, 3-0.

"It feels good to get this one," Machehin told the Baltimore Daily News.
