Seahawks Net 4-3 Win Over Chiefs
|
Myrtle Beach picked up a win at Pipers Ballpark, toppling the Caldwell Chiefs, 4-3. Pitcher Wayne King was one of the reasons the Seahawks triumphed. Tony Wille earned the save for Myrtle Beach, his 1st of the year. The Chiefs fall to 6-11.
Myrtle Beach relied on the hitting of Ishaan Swan to pick up the win. The right fielder ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the fifth inning to put the Seahawks on top, 3-0. For the game, Swan had 1 triple and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"We put together a nice win," King said.
