Piranhas Come Up Short at Nova Scotia, 4-3
The Nova Scotia Leviathan bested the Panama City Piranhas, 4-3, at The Dungeon in Halifax. Juan Neváres was one of the standouts. He went 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Nova Scotia reliever Alfredo Molina was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Sergio Tacuri took the loss. Tom DeHart finished the game for Nova Scotia and earned his 2nd save.

Early in the game, Neváres had a 2-run double for Nova Scotia. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Leviathan on top, 3-1.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Neváres told the Nova Scotia Daily News.

The win puts Nova Scotia at 7-5.
