A good performance from right fielder Trent Brown helped the Eugene Vandals defeat the Huntington Hermit Crabs, 7-2. Brown was 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Vandals. Harvey O'Keefe picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-2. Juan Ramírez was tagged with the loss. At 35-33, the Vandals are currently 5th in the Silver A.

With Eugene leading 2-1 in the top of the fifth, Brown hit a circle change from Juan Ramírez for a 3-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Vandals ahead, 5-1.
