Linen Helps Stingers Beat Bullets, 9-8
The Toledo Stingers did just enough to secure a victory over the Baltimore Bullets, 9-8, at Pacesetter Park. Nobody did more than first baseman Brook Linen. Adam Durango closed the game out for Toledo, earning his 1st save. Baltimore, now 3-9, continues its tough start.

Linen had a big at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Stingers went on to win.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Linen told the Toledo News. "It's as simple as that."
