Grim Roughed Up By Jets
|
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 24-year old first baseman Steve Hodge, the Kennesaw Jets stopped the Grim Reapers, 9-1. With the win, Kennesaw boosts its record to 7-2.
In the top of the fourth, with Kennesaw leading 1-0, Mark Ream hit a fastball from Bill Miller for a run-scoring single, giving the Jets the lead, 2-0.
"We came out aggressive," said Jets manager Sherwood Baker. "We came out swinging the bats."
