Blaze Knock Off Blue Dragons at The Ballpark on the Beach
The South Beach Blaze picked up a win at The Ballpark on the Beach, knocking off the Levittown Blue Dragons, 8-4. On the mound for South Beach was right-hander Victor Jones, who played a pivotal role in the win. Jones got the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed 5 hits and walked 2 over 6 innings. Jones allowed 3 runs. George Hawkins recorded the save, his 1st.

In the bottom of the second, Jeremy Watson hit a 2-run triple. The 1st triple of the season for the South Beach right fielder put the Blaze on top, 2-0.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Jones.

South Beach goes to 5-2 with the win.
