A good performance from designated hitter Trent Brown helped the Eugene Vandals defeat the Delmarva Gallos, 4-3. Brown was 2 for 4 with a home run for the Vandals. Eugene reliever Harvey O'Keefe picked up the win to move to 2-2. Josh Reynolds suffered the loss. The 5th-place Vandals improved to 30-25.

Jon Himes had a critical at-bat with no one out in the bottom of the sixth for Eugene. He came through with a solo home run to put Eugene in front, 4-1.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Brown.
