Kvernoey Helps Chukars Beat Generals, 4-2
|
Idaho Falls first baseman Gareth Kvernoey had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Washington Generals, 4-2. Manny Negrete picked up the save, his 10th. The Chukars raised their record to 19-32.
In the top of the third, with the game still scoreless, Kvernoey hit a 3-run home run to put his team in the lead.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Kvernoey told the Idaho Falls Daily.
