Belleville picked up a win at Belleville Field, toppling the Washington Generals, 6-3. Pitcher Tim Simmons was one of the reasons the Bulls triumphed. Willie Wooton earned the save, his 1st. The win has Belleville at 15-25.

The Bulls got a big hit from catcher Carlos Zamora. In the bottom of the fifth, Zamora pounded a 2-run home run to left. His 1st home run of the season put the Bulls ahead, 3-0.

"We take it day by day here," said Zamora, "and today was a good one for us."
