Led by Paul Green, the Delmarva Gallos downed the Washington Generals, 8-6. Green was 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Gallos. Carroll Kelly got the save, the 4th for him this season. The Gallos saw their record improve to 18-16.

It could have been a different outcome for Delmarva, had it not been for Manuel Cuevas, the 21-year old second baseman . Cuevas contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the first inning to put Delmarva up, 1-0.
