Hermit Crabs Come Up Short at Delmarva, 1-0
In a low-scoring affair between the Delmarva Gallos and the Huntington Hermit Crabs, pitcher Eddy Boyd was the difference between victory and defeat. The Delmarva right-hander earned accolades in the 1-0 Gallos win. Bill Terry finished the game for Delmarva and earned his 3rd save. The win puts Delmarva at 12-10 this season.

The Gallos got a big at-bat from first baseman Israel Guzmán. For the game, Guzmán was 1 for 4 with a double. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 3rd double of the season gave Delmarva a 1-0 lead.

In postgame comments to the Delmarva Herald, Boyd said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
