Stingers Lose to Shredders, 3-2
Hollywood Shredders starter Eric Colquhoun turned in an exceptional performance against the Toledo Stingers at The Hollywood Bowl, resulting in a Hollywood win, 3-2. Colquhoun, the winner, moves to 1-1. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 9 and giving up no walks. Lloyd Natoff closed it out for his 2nd save.

The Shredders got an important contribution from second baseman Roosevelt Cartledge, who in the bottom of the fifth punched a full count slider into right for a run-scoring double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Shredders ahead, 3-2.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Hollywood skipper Bill Cheese.

The loss drops Toledo to 3-3.
