The Belleville Bulls beat the Delmarva Gallos, 3-1, at Belleville Field. Starting pitcher Miguel Angel Craig was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. The winner was Mike James in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Thomas Rice took the loss. François L'Écuyer earned the save for Belleville, his 6th.

The Bulls got a big at-bat from right fielder Cam Lloyd. For the game, Lloyd was 2-3 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 3rd double of the season gave Belleville a 2-1 lead.

"I just trusted my stuff," said Craig.

Belleville is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 7th in 19 games.
