Bulls Take Down River Rats, 5-4
|
The Belleville Bulls gave their fans something to talk about with a thrilling, walk-off win.
The Belleville Bulls topped the Columbia River Rats by the score of 5-4, with the largest share of the credit going to center fielder Jaicus Saracho. Saracho was 3 for 5 with a triple, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Bulls. The River Rats drop to 7-8 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2045 season.
The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the 13th. With Belleville trailing 4-3, Saracho hit a fastball from Gil Farrell for a 2-run triple. Just like that, the Bulls had a walk-off win.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Saracho told the Belleville Bulletin.
