Getting offensive support from Arhippa Rintala, the Huntington Hermit Crabs topped the Idaho Falls Chukars, 2-1. Rintala was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Hermit Crabs. The winner was Huntington reliever John Robertson, now 2-1. The loser was Noboru Kokawa. The loss has the Chukars at 8-7.
Rintala had a key at-bat for Huntington early in the game. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and gave Huntington an early 2-0 lead.
"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Rintala.
