Vandals Lose By a Run at Idaho Falls, 3-2

Everett Pratt pitched well, but his team, the Eugene Vandals, still dropped a 3-2 decision to the Idaho Falls Chukars at Idaho Falls Park. With the win, Idaho Falls is 7-4.
Mariano Cabral helped out the Idaho Falls cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the second baseman drew 1 walk.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Eugene manager Aaron Barnes.
