Delmarva pitcher Josh Reynolds did his part in helping his team beat the Put-In-Bay Commodores, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The winning pitcher was Reynolds, now 1-1. He tossed 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 5. Bill Terry finished the game for Delmarva and earned his 1st save.
Delmarva used a well-timed hit by José Altagracia to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Gallos ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"We've got a great group of guys," Altagracia said, "and we're having fun right now."
The loss makes Put-In-Bay 3-7.
