Toledo Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Fans watched the Toledo Stingers and the Nova Scotia Leviathan fight to the finish.

The Toledo Stingers faced a tough opponent in Nova Scotia pitcher Ken Grant, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Pacesetter Park by a final score of 3-2. Grant went 8 innings and allowed no runs. Toledo reliever Bailey Borrett picked up the win to move to 1-0. Tom DeHart suffered the loss.

The Stingers were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when center fielder Raleigh Adams turned a 2-2 fastball from Tom DeHart into a bases-clearing double. The walk-off double sent a roar through the crowd and gave Toledo a thrilling 3-2 win.

"We found a way to get it done," Adams said.

The win gives Toledo a record of 2-1.
