Washington picked up a win at Washington Park, toppling the Laredo Hawks, 6-4. Pitcher Alfredo Casas was one of the reasons the Generals triumphed. Nobuatsu Toshishai finished to wrap up his 2nd save. After losing, Laredo is 2-3.

In the bottom of the first, Mo Baring hit a 2-run double. The 1st double of the season for the Washington left fielder put the Generals on top, 3-1.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Casas. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
