Thunder Lose Again, 6-0, to Atoms
|
Bethesda Atoms starter Stu Washington was dealing. He helped his team knock off the St. Petersburg Thunder, 6-0. The slumping Thunder have lost 6 straight.
The Atoms got an important contribution from right fielder Byron Shadix, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a 1-1 cutter into left for a solo home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Atoms ahead, 2-0.
"Feels good to get the job done," Shadix said after the game.
