Ft. Polk South Gets 8-1 Win
Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks starter Wynn Kelley turned in a top-notch performance against the Westwood Sixshooters at Sixshooters Stadium. The result was a win for the Thunder Hawks, 8-1. The win makes Ft. Polk South 51-37.

Ft. Polk South used a well-timed hit by Danny McElroy to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Thunder Hawks ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"We'll enjoy this win," said McElroy. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
