Pilgrims Topple Atoms, 8-5
|
The Providence Pilgrims relied on the hitting of designated hitter David Davis to stop the Bethesda Atoms, 8-5. For the game, Davis was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Providence reliever Luiz Palmeiro was the winner. His record is now 2-3.
