Good production from first baseman Danny McElroy helped the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks topple the St. Petersburg Thunder, 6-2. McElroy was 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Thunder Hawks. Ft. Polk South has now won 4 straight, while the Thunder have lost 3 in a row.

The game turned with two out in the top of the fourth when McElroy hit a 3-run home run. It propelled the Thunder Hawks into the lead, 4-1.
