Thunder Hawks Snag 7-5 Win
Ft. Polk South rode a decent outing from starter Mark Brunswick to victory over the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles. The final score was 7-5. The Thunder Hawks improve their record to 29-24 with the win over Mercer Island.

Ft. Polk South took a 6-5 lead on Virgil Hughes's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Hughes hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Mercer Island pitcher Dave Green visibly frustrated.

"Mark -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Thunder Hawks manager John Anderson. "He was the key to us winning."
