The Northville Eclipse did just enough to secure a victory over the Bethesda Atoms, 6-5, at Old-Timers Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Hsin-ta Lian. Getting the save was John Ralston, his 14th. Northville now sits at 32-18, while Bethesda falls to 24-26.

With two out in the bottom of the second, Kuan Pi barreled up a fastball from Manuel Silva. The result was a 3-run home run, putting the Eclipse in front, 5-1.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Pi said.
