Thunder Hawks Need Extra Innings to Top Mariachis, 3-2
The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks picked up a win at Thunder Hawks Ballpark, knocking off the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis, 3-2. Starting pitcher Carlson Foolscrow was a big reason why. The winner in relief was Alan Haas. He is now 3-0. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. With the win, Ft. Polk South has a record of 25-18. Nuevo Mexico falls to 24-19.

Bartolo Ayala won the game for Ft. Polk South when homered off Nathan May in the bottom of the tenth.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Ayala said after the game.
