St. Petersburg right fielder Getoff Mylawn had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Mylawn was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice, even as Northville beat the Thunder, 5-4. Northville has now won 7 straight.

Northville won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With no outs and Gabriel Leeds on the mound for St. Petersburg, first baseman Kuan Pi hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Eclipse fans to their feet.

Pi said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
