The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles grabbed a win, 8-5, over the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks at Mercer Island Grounds. Mercer Island first baseman Rick McCarthy went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Mercer Island is now 27-9, 5 games up in the Premier AA.

Mercer Island grabbed control in the bottom of the eighth. With no one out and the bases loaded, Kiambu Fentress delivered a 2-run single, to make it 7-5 in favor of the Screaming Eagles.
