6-3 Loss to Atoms Extends Westwood Losing Streak
|
The Bethesda Atoms handed the Westwood Sixshooters a loss at Sixshooters Stadium. The final score was 6-3. Wally Harrison was one of the major contributors for Bethesda. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Myles Winters was credited with the save for Bethesda, his 1st of the season. The losses continue to mount for Westwood, which has now dropped 6 in a row.
It could have been a different outcome for Bethesda, had it not been for Anthony McGee, the 27-year old third baseman . McGee contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the third inning to put Bethesda up, 3-0.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said McGee.
