Wynn Kelley never let the Screaming Eagles get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his cutter, to pitch the Thunder Hawks to a win, 4-0. Joe Gregg, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save. The win makes Ft. Polk South 20-14.

In the top of the fifth, Ft. Polk South center fielder Lasse Karsberg had a productive at-bat. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and two out, Karsberg stroked a 2-run single to right. It made the score 3-0, Ft. Polk South. For the game, he went 1 for 5, while adding 2 RBI.

"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Jesús Román.
