Pierogis Deal Thunder Hawks 4-3 Loss
|
Ricardo Rodríguez pitched well, but his team, the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks, still dropped a 4-3 decision to the Squirrel Hill Pierogis at Thunder Hawks Ballpark. The Pierogis are now 13-17, while the Thunder Hawks fall to 19-11.
In the top of the third, with Squirrel Hill leading 3-2, Adam Cunningham hit a curveball from Ricardo Rodríguez for a run-scoring single, giving the Pierogis the lead, 4-2.
Cunningham told a Squirrel Hill Chronicle reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
