The Mariachis grabbed a win, 7-6, at Mariachi Band Shell, overcoming a fine effort from Ft. Polk South pitcher Joe Gregg. Gregg went 5.1 innings and allowed 1 run. The Mariachis raised their record to 13-7.

The clutch hit was provided by Pedro Santos. He delivered a walk-off run-scoring single off Scott Richardson in the bottom of the tenth.

Santos said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."
