The Bethesda Atoms stopped the St. Petersburg Thunder, 4-3, at Baby Thunder Dome. The Atoms got a big game from Adrian Beard, who went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Ángel Franco earned the win to go to 4-1.
