Tight Tilt Goes to Eclipse, 2-1
|
The Northville Eclipse defeated the Westwood Sixshooters, 2-1, in USPL Double A action at Old-Timers Park. Northville pitcher Bill Williams had a standout performance. Westwood falls to 2-12.
Making an impact for the home team was Clark Curtis. In the bottom of the fourth, the 22-year old center fielder had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 2-0, Eclipse.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Northville skipper Harris Harden.
