Thunder Hawks Earn 7-6 Win Against Eclipse
Behind the hitting of Bartolo Ayala, the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks stopped the Northville Eclipse, 7-6. Ayala went 4 for 5 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 for the Thunder Hawks. Reliever Masaki Ito picked up the win. His record improves to 3-0. John Ralston took the loss. The win gives Ft. Polk South a record of 9-2.

In the bottom of the tenth, Lasse Karsberg had a chance to deal the knockout blow. And he did, punching a run-scoring walk to center off Northville pitcher John Ralston.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Ayala, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
