Mariachis Topple Sixshooters, 6-1, as Renninger Shines
The exploits of first baseman Benjamin Renninger helped the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis defeat the Westwood Sixshooters, 6-1. Renninger went 3-4 with a home run, a triple, and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The winning pitcher was Gerard Fyson. His record is now 1-1. The left-hander went 6.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 7 hits for the Mariachis.
