Nuevo Mexico got a strong outing from Peter Bradley as the Mariachis defeated the Northville Eclipse, 5-1, at Old-Timers Park. Bradley picked up the win for Nuevo Mexico, going 7.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 2-0. Nuevo Mexico, now 7-2, is playing great baseball to start the year.

Nuevo Mexico used a well-timed hit by Pedro Santos to capture the win. The right fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put the Mariachis ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 2 at-bats, it was important.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Santos.
