Richland starter Manny Guerra had a strong outing against the Asheville Highlanders at Rails Ballpark. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. Richland reliever Mike Lewis got the win, raising his record to 1-1. Jesús Gordini was tagged with the loss. Jason Walker got the save, his 2nd in 4 chances.

Rafael Rea contributed to the Richland win. The 23-year old right fielder stroked a 2-run double in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Rea was 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.

"It was a solid team effort," said Guerra after the game.

The Rails, at 41-58, sit in 9th place in the Silver AA.
