Victory Over Ogres Takes Gwinnett to 59-37
Gwinnett right-hander Greg Ayala pitched his team to victory over the Olympia Ogres at Experimental Stadium. The final score was 4-1. Carlos Cabael, credited with the save, is now 1 for 2 in save opportunities. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Guinea Pigs.

The Guinea Pigs got an important contribution from designated hitter Luis Concepción, who in the bottom of the fourth punched a 1-1 fastball into right for a solo home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Guinea Pigs ahead, 2-0.
