Victor Jensen made an impact in the 8-2 Virginia Beach win over Olympia. Jensen, who is tied for 10th in the SAA in stolen bases with 22, went 2 for 5 with a home run. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. The second-place Whales have won 6 consecutive games.
Virginia Beach took the lead on Jensen's 23rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came against Wilford Brown in the top of the sixth, made the score 4-1, Virginia Beach.
"Hitting, winning. It's just contagious," said Jensen.
