The Richland Rails beat the Gulf Coast Turbeaus, 4-0. Richland pitcher and Mandeville, Jamaica, native Ashley Blamey led the way. The Rails now have a record of 35-48.
Richland relied on the hitting of Matt Fuller to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Rails on top, 2-0. For the game, Fuller had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
Fuller attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
