Miners Continue Skid, Thanks to Orozco, Whales
Behind a fine performance from António Orozco, the Virginia Beach Whales knocked off the Marquette Miners, 7-4. Orozco hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Whales. Marquette's current losing streak is now 4 games.

Virginia Beach used the timely hitting of Neung-uk Yi to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Whales on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I felt good up there," said Orozco. "I saw the ball well."
