Asheville left fielder Joe Frank had a good game, even if his team did not. The Highlanders dropped a 5-3 decision to Richland at Asheville Park. Frank went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Eldon Williams got the save, the 15th for him this season. The Rails now have a record of 26-35 with the win over Asheville.
Glenn Seals, the 25-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Seals contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put Richland up, 3-0.
"We take it day by day here," said Seals, "and today was a good one for us."
