Guinea Pigs Dump Richland, 5-3, to Win 4th in a Row

The Gwinnett Guinea Pigs defeated the Richland Rails, 5-3. Doing his part was designated hitter Guillermo Alessandrini, who went 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Korbin Dallas came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record now stands at 3-3. Gwinnett has now won 4 in a row.
In the bottom of the seventh, Gwinnett shortstop Quentin Batkin hit a run-scoring single to center field. The clutch hit made it, 4-3, Guinea Pigs.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Gwinnett manager Tabor de Maria.
