Whales Topple Rails, 7-5, as Jensen Shines
A 4-RBI performance from second baseman Victor Jensen, who is tied for 7th in the SAA in runs scored with 28, led the Virginia Beach Whales to a win over the Richland Rails, 7-5. With the win, Virginia Beach upped its record to 24-21.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the seventh, with the game tied, Lynn Medlen was at the plate when Virginia Beach scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Whales to go in front, 6-5.

"Another day, another win. On to the next one," Medlen told the Virginia Beach Herald.
