Fur Traders Beat Richland, 2-1
Tacoma starter Wally Moon put a stranglehold on the Richland offense. The right-hander had complete command of his cutter in leading the Fur Traders to a 2-1 win. Tacoma reliever Rafael Ramos picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Eduardo Pérez absorbed the loss. The Fur Traders raised their record to 8-18.

Tacoma used the timely hitting of Valerio Salviati to capture the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Fur Traders on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

When asked about his performance after the game, Salviati said: "Like everyone else, I'm just doing my job."
